By accessing or using MingYi (the "Service"), operated by MingYi B.V., a private company registered in the Netherlands, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
MingYi provides consultation services based on classical Chinese interpretive frameworks including, but not limited to, Da Liu Ren (大六壬), Qi Zheng Si Yu (七政四余), Mei Hua Yi Shu (梅花易数), Qi Men Dun Jia (奇门遁甲), and traditional Huang Li (黄历) date selection.
2.1 Nature of Readings
All readings, consultations, and date selections provided through the Service are intended as interpretive frameworks for thinking about decisions. They do not constitute medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. They are not substitutes for licensed professional advice.
2.2 Entertainment Disclosure
The Service is offered for educational and entertainment purposes. Outcomes suggested by readings are not guaranteed.
3. Account & Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase readings.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of birth data and other information you provide.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- One account per person. We may suspend duplicate accounts.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
4.1 Pricing
All prices are listed in Euros (EUR) or US Dollars (USD) depending on your region. Prices include applicable VAT for EU customers.
4.2 PayPal
Payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie., S.C.A. or PayPal Inc., depending on your jurisdiction. By paying, you agree to PayPal's User Agreement in addition to these Terms.
4.3 Subscriptions
Membership subscriptions (Plus, Pro) renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. You may cancel any time from your account page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, blog posts, wiki entries, the MingYi name, and the MingYi visual identity — is the property of MingYi B.V. or its licensors and is protected by international copyright law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written permission. You may share excerpts for personal, non-commercial use with attribution.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its security features.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Service without prior written consent.
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers & Limitations
8.1 No Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MingYi B.V. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
10. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, except where EU consumer law provides otherwise.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
